Day Two for "Crows"

Here's Day Two, viewers. We got all of our interior scenes done Day One, and the sky was nice that day. So for all of our exterior the sky decided to open up for:

Here's a shot of everything we have. Video transfer equipment, sound equipment, make up box, tripod, script, and the Hat of Importance.
And here's the shot list. Look at all we got done the other day!
"You will make no movie!! Says I, the Sky!!!!"

Oscar's waiting to do sound... even though he's an actor.

We all go over our notes and get set for a rough day.
Check out our lighting equipment! A Work light...
 And a big professional one!
Here's our mic for the movie on the makeshift boom that we have.

Lets get ready to make a movie outside in the rain!
 With a dog!

 On a rope!
 A bloody rope!!!

We're trying to get what we can despite the rain. We have an arsenal of umbrellas at our disposal.
We got plenty, but not all of it. Tune in tomorrow for pics of Day Three. Until then, close out vid:

Day One for "Crows"

Faithful viewers, we reveal to you our next big project. Chris and I have banded together with other film makers like ourselves and we are working together to make a big anthology of horror shorts. We all have different things to do, but June 31, we shot the first in the collection:
CROWS

Allow me to walk you through our first day.

You will be following me as the blogger of our company. I had to shave my beard for the role I got.
He're Chris with his dandy GoPro camera. It gets great footage, and you will soon see what he'll be doing with it as cinematographer.
And here's our writer-director Nick himself. Say "hi!"
Behold our horrific collection of props and tech.

Here's the script as well as the shot list for our supervisor to look over.
The thing ever movie should always have that's always fun: the slate.
Chris got creative with the many tools we needed. Here he cobbled up our boom for the shoot. Pretty good. Hope we got good sound.
And the other thing he made: a head mount for his GoPro for some fun POV stuff.
And here he prays to the great gods of movie making for advice and guidance.
While we were going through more stuff to fuck with...
When all of a sudden more of the crew arrives! Here's Chris Briggs, our assistant director.
And Josh Floyd the script supervisor. Lets get this ball rolling!
By the name shown, the movie will be about EVIL SCARECROWS! The director made the costumes.

And now here comes the make up. Director's first.

One scarecrow down.

And now the rest of the crew is here: Julio Perez our sound guy!
And Oscar who will play the part of the angry neighbor whom doesn't believe that scarecrows are alive.
 TOO BAD!!!
Now for me to go on the transformation.

And now there are two freaky scarecrows!!

And now the first shots are taken for the movie.
It was an early shoot. I fell asleep. Couldn't ruin the costume.

Now the fun part: A BARREL FIRE!!!
Which is kinda hard to do even with plenty of garbage.
Everyone else waited while Nick and Chris tried to start a fire.

 Chris will have his fire!

CHRIS IS GOING MAD WITHOUT HIS FIRE!!!!!!

In the end... We succeeded. And no one got hurt. Yay us!

And now we close with the first video blog of the event. Watch, enjoy, and we'll see you next shoot. We have plenty to show.
